Island Vir

Vir is one of 300 islands and islets of the Zadar archipelago

Vir is located in the northwestern part of Dalmatia and is the 20th largest Croatian island. It has an area of 22.38 km2, a length of 10.12 km and a maximum width of 4.25 km. Vir is 26 km away from Zadar. It has been connected to the mainland by a port bridge since 1976, making Vir an integral part of the mainland, so visitors can experience the typical island atmosphere on the one hand, while at the same time enjoying the mobility afforded by a modern road network
